San Diego's First French Film Festival

Alliance Française de San Diego is launching its first French Film Festival in San Diego, with films focusing on the role of women in modern society. This event will take place from March 26th to March 29th, 2020, at Angelika Film Center Carmel Mountain, 11620 Carmel Mountain Rd, San Diego, California 92128 and Reading Cinemas Town Square, 4665 Clairemont Dr, San Diego CA 92117. 

The goal of the Festival is to promote the French language and Francophone culture through the screening of movies selected for every audience, from youth to film buffs. 

This year's French Film Festival will also offer college student exposure to another academic medium related to film.

All films will have English subtitles. Passes will be offered for the entire Festival and are already available at

FFF Launch Party

You're invited to join us to celebrate the Launch of San Diego's First French Film Festival! Champagne and Crepes will be available for purchase. Festival Launch Party is  Saturday, March 14 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Alliance Française de San Diego! This event will feature the trailers of the movies, photo ops and all the participants will be entered into a raffle for two tickets to any films in the Festival.
